About UsFUBOH™© is a Not for Profit, Afrikan Spiritually centered Foundation. It belongs to all of us as Afrikan people. We are here under the instruction of the ancestors and our village.
Our aim is to help with the healing and Re- Building process of our communities. To Re-connect with Mother Earth, our Ancestors and our Universe, working from an Afrikan spirituality based prospective, through Spiritual Re-development, Spiritual Counselling, and Spiritual healing.
FUBOH™© has no begining and it also has no end, as it belongs to us and we are never ending.
We introduced our first Drumming Session for our men three years ago. This, we thought, was a good place to come in with the re-connection process as the drum has traveled with us throughout our journey. In that same year we also sold 'Remembrance' badges to encourage us not to forget our past. We raised £4,000.00 for our community from our community through this. The money was used back in the community on our children, We took a group to see 'Africa Africa' Our young men, we train young men in the community to do carpentry and send them on a day release course, the monthly drumming sessions as well as the now 'Nature within us sessions' for our women.
We also drummed to our Ancestors for their help with the upliftment of our people both at home and worldwide on 7/7/2007 & 7/7/2008 in Shepherds Bush Green. This will now be a regular ritual each year on the 7 July.
Most of our teaching and knowledge comes from the Elders of our village in the upper Volta region of Ghana as well as the Ancestors and the Knowledge taken back from the west.
In the future we are looking to interact more with our communities both on a one to one basis as well as collectively. This will be done through Healing on Several levels - Forming links within our communities and assisting our people in getting whatever help is needed for them as long as the help requested falls within our remit. At present we are trying to collate a data base with the end result of finding the skills that are in our communities so that we can be in a better position to be able to help ourselves and one another.
We Also offer support to our mothers and children in the community both through spiritual counselling and personal development ( We do also offer support to our fathers as well).
As FUBOH™© grows the services that we will be able to offer our commnity will grow with us.
Our main goal is the re-unification of the Afrikan Spirit through a process called the 'Transformation of the Mind'.
